Being a mom is probably the most challenging job you could have. If you also have a job that pays you, then you’re probably working overtime! Figuring out how to balance work and being a mom is one of the biggest challenges I have faced; you’re not alone in trying to create work-life balance. When you’re trying to create a balanced life as a working mom, I look at this as a unique kind of balance. I call this “mom-balance” because you’re juggling being a mom with work, family, life responsibilities, and more. Balance is often an ongoing act; you may feel it one minute and not the next; one day you feel balanced and the next day it’s gone. However, with intention, focus, and clear strategies, you can feel in balance more often, and can understand how to self-correct when you feel unbalanced.
