Ahh, working out…it’s one of those things you know you should do but as a mom it often gets put on the back (way back) burner. I have been trying (sort of) to make the time to work out and as usual, make a sad attempt at better eating. If you’re like me, with little kids, it’s really hard to put yourself first and find a workout that works for busy moms.

It wasn’t until I discovered the 15 Day Mommy Fit Challenge that I really got motivated and started seeing results. I know I sound like an infomercial, and I really have no connection to this workout other than I love it. It’s great to be able to work out in your own home, without much equipment needed, and get the workout done fast.

Trainer Nicole has developed a 15-day program: you get a fantastic workbook everyday that’s different. You’ll revisit some of the same moves but she changes it up, which makes it more interesting to come back to. All of the videos are online, she talks you through what you’re supposed to be doing and manages to keep you motivated even though you’re at home by yourself.

She also outlines all of your meals and workouts, and has variations if you’re pregnant, post-partum or a nursing moms. It’s all free, can be done with minimal equipment from your home. Best of all, workouts are done in about 35 minutes. I’ve been able to do the workouts at home with my kids running around; they’ve been getting into it too which is fun to watch and makes me feel less guilty for taking time away from them.

Even with a few days off here and there and not following the meal plan exactly, my friends and family are noticing that my baby weight is gone and I’m looking more fit! I like that it’s a program you can easily come back to if you stop the momentum, and that it’s easy to do at home.

I know many moms have the best of intentions when it comes to working out and it’s so easy to make excuses. I’m full of them too but Trainer Nicole makes it easier to put those excuses aside and get a good at-home workout. Learn more at: https://idealfit.com/mommy-trainer.
